Welcome to Bed of Roses Bed and Breakfast
Located in Jefferson Texas, Bed of Roses Bed and Breakfast is a gable front and wing type of Folk Victorian that exhibits East Lake styling. Some of the outstanding features include the curved front porch with its balustrade and spindle frieze and the jig-cut barge boards. The home was originally located in a different part of town and was moved to the current location on Line Street. Through previous owners, the house has had many renovations over the years. While still retaining some of the best characteristics of this fine old home.
In 1985, the home was recorded as a Texas Historical Landmark.

Jefferson, Texas has a very rich history filled with a variety of antique stores, some wonderful unique shops, delicious restaurants and fun entertaining night life on the weekends. Back in the day it was the largest port city navigable from the Red River. There were big riverboats docked here every day, bringing people and supplies to the west and then carrying cotton and lumber back to New Orleans. I know it is so hard to imagine today!
If you are into enjoying all the nature we have to offer, perhaps a swamp boat ride out at Caddo lake is just what you are itching to do.
